As you may know, the Journey to ETH Flower has begun, and we’ll be airdropping 2009 of the 2015 ETH Flowers to existing flower hodlers.

As per the final Discord vote of 55 to 267, the flower community overwhelmingly supports the idea of a random snapshot for determining airdrops. Here’s how it will work.

On BTC Flower’s one-month anniversary, Wednesday, February 23rd at 3 PM UTC (10 AM EST), a countdown will begin and close at the same time on March 2nd, exactly one week later. At a random time in that window, a qualifying snapshot for the ETH Flower airdrop will be taken.

If you have a flower listed on the open market that gets sold before the snapshot, you will not get an ETH Flower airdrop.

If you’re just hodling a BTC Flower, don’t worry about this, you’re good.

The airdrop will yield a random ETH Flower at a 1:1 ratio, 1 BTC Flower of any kind = 1 random ETH Flower. A wallet holding multiple BTC Flowers will receive multiple ETH Flowers.

We’re planning the same for ICP Flower, with a future snapshot and qualifying airdrop in Q4 for wallets that hold both a BTC Flower and an ETH Flower.

ETH Flower Launch

On BTC Flower’s two-month anniversary, March 23rd, same time, all 2009 ETH Flowers will be airdropped at random as identical seeds, just like BTC Flower. You’ll have the seeds in your wallet, but trading will not yet be available.

The 6 extra flowers from the 2015 collection will be put up for auction on Entrepot the following day, also as random ETH Flower seeds, with the proceeds going toward future developments and community efforts.

Trading of those random seeds will commence right after the auction, and 48 hours later those seeds will bloom into their final form as ETH Flowers.

***Please note: launch dates and the finer details are subject to change in case of technical hurdles.***

See you at launch!
